Stuffed Jalapeno Mushrooms

I am coming up with multiple recipes to use the jalapenos from my garden in.
And we have another winner here!
Stuffed mushrooms from heaven people!
What season is it!?  Football baby! These will make your guests really happy they chose to watch the game at your house :)

The flavors in this stuffed mushroom marry together perfectly and have a real good kick to them!

You are gonna want to pop one after another, so plan ahead and make plenty to share!

There are only a few simple steps in making them so you have more time to spend with your company!  Go Vikes!  (or whoever you wanna cheer for lol)

Here is what you will need:
1 8 oz package mushrooms, washed and destemmed (I used Baby Bella Mushrooms)
5 oz  cream cheese, softened
2.5 oz goat cheese (optional, I can't get enough goat cheese!)
4 oz bacon sausage, cooked and crumbled
2 jalapenos, deseeded and chopped
4 green onions, chopped
Bread crumbs for topping

How to make them:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
Start off by washing your mushrooms, pop those stems out and lay your mushrooms out on a paper towel to dry
I sometimes save those stems, chop them up and add to a pasta sauce.  Waste not want not.
Fry up your sausage with green onion, drain and set aside. I found this bacon sausage in the frozen food section, it came in a tube.
Deseed your jalapenos and chop into small pieces (remember to wear your gloves!)
In a bowl mix your cheeses, jalapeno and sausage onion mixture.

I decided to add goat cheese to this last minute, well because I had some on hand and I love it!
But, if you do not then leave it out and just use cream cheese.
Place your mushrooms on a baking sheet, fill with the cheese mixture

And Sprinkle with breadcrumbs

Now bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees

I had a little left over cheese mixture, I think it really depends on how much you use in your mushrooms and also what mushrooms you choose to use.
My 8oz package made 10 mushrooms

Let them cool a bit, cause they will be really hot!
Now serve to your guests!
Go team ! ! !
