Salmon Pate



Who is this posting???  Yes I'm still here, yes I never ever post.  But, with all of this time on my hands......

So we tried out Hungry Root meal subscription and I had a couple packages of smoked salmon leftover from them I needed to use up.

Being the appetizer addict I am, I decided on whoopin' up some salmon pate!  

OOOOhhhhh... and I'm glad I did, it's delicious!  

Who Else is going to spoil you but yourself, I mean I think we all deserve to indulge a bit right now, am I right?! 

The only thing I think I would add to this that I did not have on hand would be capers. so if you have those add about a teaspoon.

What you need:
10 oz smoked salmon
4- 6 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup mayo
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp onion salt
1 Tbs dill, fresh or dried
1 Tbs lemon juice
1 Tbs chopped red onion (or is it purple?  you know what I mean)

How to make it:
Add all ingredients into a food processor and blend away until smooth.

Serve right away or chilled.
You could use your favorite crackers, pita chips, baguette slices or serve on a cucumber round.
